    NEW Study Released on Value of Medicare Home Health Services

    Avalere Health just released an in-depth study that confirms patients who received Medicare home health services soon after a hospital discharge SAVE Medicare over $1.71 billion in care expenditures. The study also determined that an additional $1.77 billion in savings is possible if other patients in the study had used home health services. The study focused on patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Diabetes.

    You can now pay your TAHC Membership Dues through our secure PayPal site with your credit card. Just enter the invoice number and membership dues amount and follow the PayPal directions. You will receive a PayPal confirmation of your transaction for your records. Click here on the "2010 TAHC Membership Dues"  link or access the payment form from the menu at the left.

    If you are joining without an invoice, consult the TAHC Membership application (on our website) for the dues amount or call 615/885-3399 to speak to a TAHC Representative. You can join anytime during the year & may be eligible for corporate or first time member discounts.

    We are glad you are committed to contacting your Legislator(s) on Homecare Issues. Legislators DO want to hear from you. They are anxious to know what is important to their voters. TAHC wants to help you continuously communicate with your Legislator so that they are aware and supportive of issues that positively affect you, your patients/clients and your business.

    1. A link to help you decide WHO your Legislator is – just enter your zip code. Whether the issue is federal (health care reform or Medicare, etc.) or a State issue (TennCare, etc.), these links start your road to communicating on a regular basis with your Legislator(s) by just opening this page.
       
    2. Specific Homecare Issues or Legislative Bill #s and Talking Points on those Issues or Legislation.

    Here’s how this easier checkout works:

    1. Members complete registration for events on the TACH website. When you click register you are transferred to the secure PayPal site for credit card processing.
    2. Members with PayPal Accounts login or members without PayPal accounts can click "continue" at the bottom of the page to enter their credit card processing information.
    3. (Optional) After reviewing their information, they may choose to save their information by creating a PayPal account to make future transactions faster.
