The Tennessee Association presents Post Survey – What Do I Do Now? Webinar

Date: Wednesday, June 21, 2017

Time: 10:30 a.m. to Noon Central OR 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern

Description: This webinar will review how to complete a Plan of Correction and why the implementation of the Plan is as important as the establishment of the Plan to your next survey. Performance Improvement is a large part of the compliance program and we will discuss how to develop the skills necessary to implement a successful performance improvement program and assist staff with the understanding that all employees are a part of the quality assurance/performance improvement program of the agency.

Program Goals:
Assist participants to understand this is an on-going process
Develop skills with Performance Improvement 
Assist management in their understanding that dedicated time must be allowed for survey activities during the next three years
Assist all personnel in their understanding of the "Why" a survey is a "good thing"
Assist participants on how to respond with a plan of correction

Faculty:  Nedra J. Moran, R.N., CC, CPN has served as a hospital Administrator and a Home Health and Hospice Administrator. She also has been a Director of Regulatory Compliance, Director of Nursing in both hospitals and Home Health organizations, as well as a Regional Vice President of a large surgery center. Her consulting experiences have been in developing acute care hospitals, Home Health Agencies and Hospice Agencies. She is a certified consultant for Home Health, Hospice and Private Duty..

Continuing Education:  The presenters and program planners have no conflict of interest in regard to this webinar.  RNs, LPNs must participate in the entire presentation in order for contact hours to be awarded.  Application has been made for both OT and PT contact hours. To apply for nursing contact hours, please email an evaluation form and mail a $10 processing fee for each individual requesting hours.  Additionally, send in a completed sign-in sheet, listing the individuals at your facility that participated and noting those requesting contact hours.  Individuals requesting contact hours will receive a certificate of contact hours earned.
